The Opening

I snapped awake at 4:00 a.m. with the words, “Do not go gentle into that good night, …Rage, rage, rage against the dying of the light” racing through my head repeatedly. I had been at a party over the weekend that was perhaps the most diverse party I had ever attended- whites, blacks, hispanics, men, women, heterosexuals, homosexuals, young, old; it was quite remarkable. I saw what makes America great, and I understood the term “melting pot.” None of these people was politically correct. They were all social and fun, liked to laugh at themselves, laugh at others, and just enjoy the foibles that make us human. I had been struggling a lot deciding what to do with this website. How far do I go with what I say? Do I try not to offend? I am not politically correct, nor are most people I know. But most everyone I know has a way he or she jokes or speaks in public and a way he or she jokes or speaks in private, very different ways. I am just going to be who I am. If you are offended easily, don’t read or view this website. Also, I have written stories of all sorts, there is nothing in here intended to be a representation of any specific person in a given situation, just the world and events as I see them and understand them. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
